I have to think taking an RB this early means that Gurley is either going to be: 1 - Recouping from a surgery. 2 - Extremely limited due to injury/pain. 3 - Done altogether. Henderson is a versatile guy who can both run and catch the ball well out of the backfield. I think he is the best RB in the draft, personally.by PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I don't think Rapp is the last S the Rams will grab and I don't think he's going to really play a Safety role. Rapp is slightly shorter and lighter in weight than Barron, But he's going to put on 7-10 pounds most likely within his first 2 years in the NFL. Neither of them is extremely fast with straight-line speed, but both play fast. Both will "Thump" you if given the chance. Bothby PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Told ya they may trade back, yet again.by PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com
You can draft for specific skills set and not have to worry so much about trying to get an upper tier do-everything player. Pats have been mixing in older vets and draftees with very specific skills sets for years. You can only do it if you have enough quality players in place and if you are a "destination" team where the vets will want to come. I the Rams may even trade back againby PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Had a short convo with my father today. As we talked it through and realized that if Whit retires and the Rams decide they are over-paying Brockers after this year, it's like a $26M cap savings if both are gone next year. (if Whit plays at a high level next year and wants to come back... I'd pay him tho.) Assuming the Rams really believe that Noteboom is either a starting quality LT or LG for neby PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com

Say what you want... I, personally believe that Blake may be our QB in 2 years and JG may be gone. Teams cannot sink 25% or more into a QB and remain competitive. I'm gonna get hammered for this, but we'll check back in 2021 and see. PS... I'm not against Goff. I love the kid. But I think the concept of paying too much cap to QBs is changing.by PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I have NO inside scoop, just my gut feelings about the relationship, but... I think Malcolm Brown is an OUTSTANDING back-up to Todd Gurley. The difference between CJ Anderson and MB, when it comes to the relationship with Gurley, is that MB has always been his back-up. I think TG basically dictated the number of carries MB got. But with CJ, it was different because not only had he been aroundby PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com

I know, strange title but... My daughter is in her club volleyball season for the 5th straight year. Last week (NFC Championship) we had the PM wave and she was playing during the game. To top it off, I video all of her matches to have film for college coaches available. So there I am, trying to watch my daughter play, video the match and I've got my I-Phone clipped to my tripod with the gameby PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com

I dunno... I guess of the remaining teams, for TV audience purposes, the Pats are the largest market and would draw the most fans. So... maybe they continue to get the calls. Funny thing is that the Charges are in the larger market but don't have near the audience. NFL nightmare would have to be LA vs LA or Indy vs NO. I firmly believe the Chargers and Colts are capable of winning theirby PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com
NFC Philly: Outstanding Defense - Decent and versatile offense with a better passing game than running game. Saints: Outstanding Offense both running and passing - Defense that improved throughout the season. Cowboys: Outstanding Defense - Very good running offense with a QB that will generally hurt opponents more with the run than the pass. Rams: Outstanding Offense WHEN the runniby PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I think 2 of the 3 leagues make it to some extent. Then, the 2 that make it will merge and trim down the number of teams. There's some pretty good financial backing and football minds involved in these leagues. But, with this many teams, you are going likely see semi-pro teams disappear. I hope these new leagues will redefine some of the rules like: - Not over protecting the QB - Making pasby PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotemax The Rams named 2 captains on defense, Brockers and Talib. When Talib went down, we essentially had no team captain on defense. Brockers has been a fraud as a captain. Someone should rip that C off his jersey and stick it on Donald. VinnyB tweeted that Rams coaches were screaming at Brockers on the sidelines of the Eagles game after he screwed up. Imagine coaches screaming at a teby PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Yeah, similar to today... When CJ wasn't in... It was going to be a run. I agree with the comparisons and what TG does well vs. other. But... Who do you want on 3rd and 1 or 4th and 1 from the goal line? If both are on the team, I'd love to seem them interchanged at times so no team really knows what they are gonna get.by PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Agreed... He as hurt in the first quarter a few games back on a run off tackle to the right as he was hit on the sideline. I think if Brown had continued to be available after that, they would have given TG some time off to get right. But, without Brown, and not trusting either of the young RBs (rightfully so), they continued to let TG go. If they would have signed CJ 2 weeks ago, I think theyby PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com
This is exactly what was needed today. CJ is not an east/west runner, even though he's capable of a jump step, being a punishing north/south runner is what made a huge difference in addition to a commitment to the running game. I certainly realize the team the Rams played was not a top team, but they were able to set a tone and get back to allowing the passing game to stem from the running game.by PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com

Rams 16 - Raiders 9 I do think not playing any offensive starters all preseason means a slow start for Rams offense (hope I'm wrong) 3 field goals and a TD for good guys and 3 field goals for the bad guys.by PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Yeah, but think of the cap like your family budget. If your car needs to be replaced and you need a new car, you may have to buy a nice Acura instead of the Tesla you really want because you still have to buy groceries, pay for utilities and of course cover the mortgage. If that luxury car eats up too much of the budget, the family suffers because you bought that Tesla and you can't pay for the oby PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com
ZN... I've read it all before from you. But, are you saying when the Rams say they agree that AD should be the highest paid defensive player that they are not offering that and just blowing PR smoke? That hasn't been their MO. I'd just like to see people not feel like they have to be pro AD or pro management. I'm pro TEAM and if one player is going to eat so much salary, at a position thatby PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I believe that Rams management has stated publicly, that they agree that AD should be the highest paid defensive player in the NFL. Even without us knowing the actual numbers or terms of the contract offered, that would suggest that the contract offered to AD would make him the highest paid defensive player in the NFL. If that's the case and AD is not willing to accept the contract, I would cerby PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I think peters has far more balls thrown his way because teams will avoid talib. This allows peters the opportunity for a lot of impact. As the beneficiary of having talib on the other side, peters should get his hands on a lot of footballs this year.by PSJRam - RamsFootballFans.com
