You can draft for specific skills set and not have to worry so much about trying to get an upper tier do-everything player.
Pats have been mixing in older vets and draftees with very specific skills sets for years. You can only do it if you have enough quality players in place and if you are a "destination" team where the vets will want to come.
I the Rams may even trade back again and they'll load up on OL/DL with specific stills sets that fill specific needs.
It's a luxury they have AND with each round lower they add a guy, it's costing them less and less from the cap.
I can't say I know it will pan out, but I LOVE the concept.
