These simple check ups make you worry.....at least a tad. I miss my Annual Physicals when I was a young Fire Fighter at NAS Jax and every year, the Doctor would say......I have no idea what you are doing but keep up the GREAT work!! SO....I'd follow Doctors orders and afterwards go get some chicken wings and a Pitcher with my Buds! LOL These days, and all kidding aside, as a Retired Firefighter, I look closely at even white blood cell numbers, aside from Cholesterol. Cancer is BRUTAL towards Firefighters my age! One thing I REALLY have issues with is my fasting blood sugar. The last 7-8 years it has either been too high or right at the danger zone.
