Me, too!! I totally agree. That's what I use as well. All my doctors are in the SSM Health system here and I LOVE the fact that they can all see what the heck is going on with me under the care of other doctors in the system. They can review notes, see test results, and know exactly what is going on with me. henever I need to see a new doctor, I tell the referring doctor that the new doctor MUST be in the SSM system. I had a nephrologist last year who was an SSM Health doctor, but she was in private practice and not in the system. I don't understand how that can but that was the deal. I didn't know she wasn't in the system until I'd been going to see her for about 4 months. When one of my other doctors insisted I needed bloodwork after the nephrologist had just had bloodwork done on me about 2 weeks prior, that's when I found out the results weren't posted to MyChart. I actually drove to her office to speak to the office personnel and nurses to find out why. That's when they told me that she was an SSM doctor who wasn't in the system so none of her notes, test results, or anything else about my care under her were there! I told them that was unacceptable and I that I would not continue as her patient because she didn't meet my requirements. I dropped her like a hot potato and told the doctor who referred me to her that she needed to find me another one and one who was in the system this time. She did... and I love the new nephrologist she found for me.
