So now the assumption now is the new Baker is the one playing for the Rams, and not the stinky Panthers QB nobody wanted a few weeks ago. It's amazing how realities change so quickly.
Baker isn't an idiot and likely realizes his best shot at staying with his current look is staying with his current team. Would he look like this QB if he were to go play in Tampa next year? Or would he go there and stink it up like he just did in Carolina this year? It's just funny to me, this assumption that Baker is "fixed now", and can go anywhere and play at this level. I think there are a lot more layers to this, and it will be very interesting which direction it takes. The path is not as clean and orderly as some surmise.
