Morris is a player's coach, he is not an in game strategist, in the Super Bowl he was given another HOF'er Weddle along with Miller to make his D work, Weddle is a DC on the field, and for a short 2-3 game quick fix Weddle was perfect, and a huge upgrade for what they had at safety. Your points about giving up points to me is not totally accurate because every week it feels like they are rarely getting team to go 3 and out. As far as base fronts, this defense has basically taken Leonard Lloyd and Jalen Ramsey and made them irrelevant. How many times has Ramsey been confused or not care what the coverage is? that is on the coach?
