I am not a fan of Morris' style of defense.
However, when I look at what he's done this year without starting CBs, without a real pass rush, with rookies and 2nd stringers ... I remember how we won a superbowl with a guy starting who came out of retirement and a 7th rounder at safety.
His defense, at best, will slow an opposing offense down and bait them into mistakes when our offense works. His defense, at worst, will frustrate opposing teams regardless who will be unsatisfied but driving the length of the field to kick field goals.
He seems to say "Well, this is what we're working with, this is where they'll want to attack, and we're going to take that and another option away."
I'm curious how he handles tomorrow night ... Seems like you can't pick both Adams and Jacobs, but maybe he can. In which case expect 14 catches from Mack Hollins and no TDs.
