I see what you are seeing on this team, though. A commitment to the running game that is methodic and purposeful in its approach, playing mistake free football (Two penalties in a pre season game is insane), and the focus that a group of scrubs exhibited was awesome to see.
That's leadership. And he's not Mike Martz. I really think he reached deep after the way he responded in 2019. Think he's thought a lot in how he responds this year in retrospect. And I expect a focused McVay, and a focused Rams team.
So yes, I've seen this movie before too. But this sequel has a new director and I'm getting my popcorn.
