Can’t say I disagree with him, either.
Here’s ZN…
I think he wasn't a good pick. I will probably think that no matter how well he plays. Interesting, the Rams do better drafting overall in rounds 3-7 than they do in round 2. Not that they are bad in round 2--they just seem to do better after round 2.
Akers was a good pick. Jefferson isn't bad at all but I don't think he's in the same class as someone like Woods. Rapp is okay, Everett was okay. Atwell--as I said I didn't like the pick and that's no matter how well he plays, which I don't predict we be that well anyway.
3rd round? Johnson, Kupp, and Jones were all good picks. We haven't seen Noteboom for an entire season yet but they like him enough to extend them as their LOT, and that says a lot. You don't usually get good franchise LOTs after round 2 (and usually not that often in round 2). Those were all good picks. Henderson is okay, and I mean the good version of "okay," like Jefferson. Good rotation back. We don't yet know about Bruss, and though he's slated to be the starting plug-and-play ROG, I won't count him yet.
So by my very quick reckoning, that's 1 or 2 very solid picks out of 5 in round 2, and 5 and maybe 6 out of 10 in round 3.
