RAMbler
Sadly, I must agree. Until proven others wise... I feel the Rams passed up too much for him...
I don't doubt Kupps word. I believe Atwell is a great athlete, and perhaps even a great football player.
BUT....
Will he be there? That's where my doubt's are. He's just so darn small, and in a very violent game.
That being said, he IS a Los Angeles RAM. So I will be pulling hard for him to prove this 'Doubting Thomas' wrong...
GO LOS ANGELES RAMS !!!
The Rams have gone out of their way to try and "build up" Tutu's confidence. All the "fluff" articles telling us how good he is doing. Having our "star" player try and help him and also build him up in the media tells me a lot.
The Rams heard all the rumblings of how much of a bust this kid looks like. I am sure they are even aware of his own family doubting him and probably have legit doubts about him themselves. They are trying to change peoples opinions without Tutu actually doing anything substantial to deserve it yet.
Kupp cannot "teach" size or toughness which are his biggest weaknesses. You either have it or you don't. So far, it doesn't look like he has either trait.
Obviously, the Rams want badly for him to succeed just like we do so we are seeing more propaganda than in WW2. lol
I take all these propaganda articles with a grain of salt. Tutu's actions during the preseason games will tell us more of what we want to know than these "ego building" attempts by the Rams. Make no doubt about it. The Rams will give him every opportunity to shine in the preseason. It's up to him to make the best of that chance.
When the REAL lights come on, what Tutu will we see? A budding future star or an over drafted, over hyped player about to be looking for another team? If Tutu fails to impress his MANY doubters this year he might be in trouble. The sharks will be circling him for sure!
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
