We really haven't seen this guy yet. He was new to being a returner and didn't do much good back there. Can he improve? Of course. He only played 10 offensive snaps with no targets. So, how round we know how he did if the ball never went his way. In last year's preseason games he played and caught every pass where he was targeted.
McVay runs it extremely vanilla so there wasn't any big scheme to get him open to use his speed.
The guy is an enigma. To call him a bust makes no sense. He never really got the opportunity to show his talent. We should all hope he emerges into a big weapon because he is a Ram. I love the fact that he is healthy. I love McVay chatting him up. I love the Kupp is tutoring him. Why all the hate? He is obviously small for an NFL football player. But, so is Tyreke. If he is the new Tyreke wouldn't he be worth a second round pick? Tyreke just got a huge contract. He was one of the two main weapons on a SB team. also, no matter your size if a 300 pound guy lands in you in the wrong way, you're going to be injured. Guys get injured jogging in practice. Guys get injured off the field. Happens all the time. Anyway, I'm done defending Tutu. He doesn't need me to do it. I am a Rams fan. He is a Ram. I therefore am a fan of Tutu. It's really that simple. And one last thing, from that "bust" article, the guys stated that Tutu doesn't have breakaway speed. I have seen him run in person. He is a blur.
