What is going to happen is that fans are going to lose trust in a ticked off fired Black coach making unprovable allegations. A guy who'll never work in the NFL again, and maybe not even college. Who wants a guy with a propensity to trash the organization he works for and sue?
I've said before: I would like to see a few more Black coaches in the NFL. But being a great Black player in no way makes one a great Black HC. It's 2 entirely different jobs.
The only people fomenting such an idea of "losing trust" are guys like Flores and his attorney that have an axe to grind and hope that they can sell that BS in hopes of getting a big settlement. In fact that is exactly the business this particular attorney is in.
I, frankly, don't even believe Flores and today Hue Jackson flatly said he was NEVER given money or incentivized in any way to lose games. So, there is one false allegation by Flores and his attorney (concerning Jackson) that is already shot down.
Fans with common sense (the vast majority) know full well that to tank a game or two means the players have to be on board. Twitter means that such a suggestion to the players will get out long before the game is played. This is a conspiracy theory scenario, which simply doesn't play except for a few who want to believe anything bad that can be dreamed up against someone or some dominant organization (of the proper political or financial situations, of course).
