Just curious, Florida.
You’re uninterested in making a potential significant upgrade at backup QB for a measly 6th?
But you are concerned about the possibility that Rams might decide to roll with their current RB corps?
Do I have both of those right?
I'm merely saying that I believe Wolford is close to Minshew in value for the Rams.
If McVay or 31 other GM's (
especially the Colts with Wentz hurt) haven't pulled the trigger for a mid to late round draft pick, this is a head scratcher for me.
If Wolford was going to miss a month or more, I would be all over acquiring Minshew for a 6th, 5th or even a 4th round draft pick.
Maybe Minshew is valued more by the Jags than most of us think and it would require a 2nd or 3rd rounder?
There has been little to nothing involving trade rumors for Minshew.
I'm on record saying I think Minshew is one of the best NFL backup QB's in the league.
His stats are impressive on a bad franchise.Gardner Minshew as back up QB over the last 2 seasons has merit.
