someone would have pulled that trigger already. As for Wolford....I see nothing that shows me he can't be what a backup is supposed to be...he has the leadership skills (the team loved playing for him in his spot(s) last year.....He has mobility, he's decent in the pass game...he knows the offense.....
I know they always look for ways to improve the roster, so there is that...but IMO they should keep what they have in the draft box for next year.
I honestly haven't seen enough of the Wolf to make a call but from I what I have seen is that he can run well. His passes seem to take forever to get to the WR's especially on out routes. I forget who the commentator was last year that said that was one of his known issues.
IMO his greatest strength might be the ability to run or...did the D's just not take his running seriously and play the pass first. Then, when we played the Sehags, it looked like they were ready for his running and almost killed the guy on one of his first scrambles.
So, as for the Wolf, I haven't seen anything that makes confident he can be relied on as a backup QB...not even for a game or two. (and we all know the odds of Stafford missing a game or two is very possible) A game or 2 might be the difference in HFA or even making the playoffs.
We can do better than the Wolf...Minshew is LIGHT YEARS better. Make the deal!
Gooo Rams!!!
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
