I'll go out on a limb and predict that the Lions don't win more than 3 games. That's not far out on a limb actually. OTOH, if they do have a good season I'm setting myself up to eat some crow. But I'm in good company.

Many Lion's fans here are dead to hope now. Much of what I hear is, "they've got to show me before I believe." Of course there exists the rosy-colored glasses believers who always think this will be a 8-8 season or better. They have grown fewer in number.

I think the ownership views the Lions as a rich man's toy, i.e. they don't take the game seriously enough, and the players can see it. So much talent has departed for one reason or another.
