I will only say that communication with Stafford is not likely to be a problem, in part because (1) McVay may have learned from that experience, (2) with veteran Stafford it will be more collaborative (McVay would have to be thick as a brick to not listen to his smart 13 year vet qb).

Considering he's been in the NFL one year longer than Stafford (and a lot of that year was probably spent making coffee), he would be smart to listen to #9.
Yeah when Stafford was playing his first season as an NFL qb, McVay was the receivers coach for the Florida Tuskers of the United Football League.
McVay first became a coordinator after being a TE coach in 2014, Stafford's 6th year in the league.
