Ok. But I think your missing my point. I'm going to assume you are older (like me) simply because kids don't really use this form of communication. Is it possible that you don't like the design due to your age or the fact that it departs too drastically from your preferred design whereas a younger person may really like it or simply have no connection to the old design?
Personally I have no problem with the uniforms you suggest. I would be completely fine with them. but I also don't see them as being dramatically different than the current ones. Perhaps I'm not terribly discerning when it comes to clothes but it's hard for me to how one is great and the other sucks. There just not that different to me.
I get your point just fine PHD. As I said, I don't dislike the new uni design because it's "too drastically from my preferred design", but more due to the fact I think the UNI is bland, plain and overthought.
There are slight differences from the mock I posted and the ones we use now. They are subtle but make a big difference IMO. The horns on the sleeves, adding an extra inch of curl to the segmented horn and adding more color go a LONG way for me. Plus, I think the mock I posted honors our Rams tradition a bit more. Something the new uni lacks IMO.
As I said, I am not against a "re-design"...I am against a "bad re-design". This could have been done so much better as proven by many on here and other boards with their own mock ups. The Rams paid BIG $ to have these new unis designed and were outdone by internet nobodies who would have done it for free. lol
Sometimes "change for the sake of change" isn't always a good thing. However, I do respect that you and others like them. Now they have a chance to make us ALL happy with the next 2 releases.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
