Old timers can continue to buy the new stuff and the newer fans go buy the new stuff. Imo that has always been the plan. But you bring up an interesting point. Dies anybody have the merchandise sales numbers from last year.
Nope, the beauty of it will be when they go back to the full horn on the helmet!
I also don't think the "old timers" will continue to buy the "new stuff". In fact, I don't think the majority of us "old timers" bought ANY of the new stuff. ( I know you mistyped there It can happen to the best of us...even ones with PHD's. lol ) I do agree with you it was "the plan" all along no matter how bad a plan it was.
Let's check the "merchandise sales numbers" a few years from now. IMO, the numbers right now might be misleading due to the newness of them. Let's see how the new stuff holds up sales wise once the newness wears off.
In comparison, the Ferragamo's are STILL considered one of the BEST uni's of all time even after 50 years! I am not sure we will even remember these new uni's in 5 years let alone 50.
As we agreed on before, maybe the next 2 release will honor a more traditional Rams look so we can all be happy!
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
