No not everyone thought the 2020 OL would be bad or even mediocre. Either way it got dominated in some games. It's not the OL we want or need.
That's easy to say now. But I recall very few here saying the 2020 OL was going to be anything but awful again. Some projected average at best.
It started to get better at the end of 2019. Whitworth was better already, Hav had surgery in the off-season, Blythe was the better center, and the 2019 newcomers had gained some experience (though looking back, I initially underestimated Corbett).
