First of all, our elder statesman graded in the top 10 of LTs last year.
Second, what Corbett did on Cleveland doesn't mean a thing. He's an older, more experienced lineman with lots of starts under his belt, with a top team. Besides, Corbett hasn't been named the starter by the Rams. He's just a candidate.
Third, why the hysterics? The Rams oline was a top 7 or 8 Oline last year, with a QB that didn't help things very much. And the only non-returning starter is a Center that everyone here pretty much declared the weak link. Our young guys got lots of time to play and add depth.
Fourth, Evans was NOT terrible at all. Don't know where you are getting that from.
Fifth, it doesn't take a bunch of Pro-Bowl players to have a very good Oline. You can have a Pro-Bowler and 4 flunkies and say "we have a Pro-Bowl Offensive lineman". So what? It's how they play effectively as a unit that matters more than any other player group on a team.
Chill out. Snead and McVay are on it.
Well, when you put it like THAT...
