Since covid is a one time deal, lowering the cap, they should come up with some other one time deals as well. Like the NBA when they can amnesty a contract after a new CBA is agreed to, this could be a season where they should do things like for the NFL.
One thing that would really help is if they allowed a restructuring deal with dead money. Instead of spreading out the current contracts of players, what if we could just spread out the dead money, that would be a no brainer.
No matter what they decide they need to come up with some creative solutions to go along with that.
