First time I’ve heard of Stafford nixing Denver and Carolina. Not that I question that it was said, just that it sheds new light on Stafford’s thinking.

Smart of him to narrow it down to Rams, Indy, and 49ers.

As an aside, I must agree that Goff was of genuine value to Lions BUT if Stafford was nixing Washington and Carolina (with their better offers) then the choices for the Lions almost made themselves. Weaker offers from Indy and 49ers made Holmes’ choice easy.

Like I said, Sometimes you gotta step back and think of how stupid some of this stuff sounds...... So the Lions and the new coach and GM are gonna let a QB they barely know tell them what offer they can accept that will have lasting effects to their future?
