I am totally floored by the responses with Goff, I think as a person he is a great guy even though I have never met him, as a QB I am not sad to see him leave. There are some people on this board that absolutely loathe the idea you can criticize a Ram player. I do not agree with that philosophy but I really respect it. I love a Ram victory and I hate when we lose because of what I feel are mistakes that should not have been made. I LOVE MCVAY'S drive and passion for excellence and I think this Goff ordeal has taught him a a lot. McVay, being a young and new coach, he fought to make sure that Goff was extended before his rookie deal, it is my opinion that he was appreciative of Goff assisting him with achieving his early success. Since then it appears Goff has not put in the time to continue his growth. Jared is not stupid he is a CAL graduate and in other articles that I have read on this board teammates were excited when Wolford was given his chance because he was putting in his time. I believe going forward McVay will take the "money ball" approach and not be that close with these guys because he is going to eventually cut them, trade them or demote them.
