I agree the defense will likely regress as it was soft against the run last year. New DC increases odds of a fall from the top.
We don't even know if AD will return to form. He looked so tentative in that GB game. Re-watching it he should NOT have been in the game. Rams should have had their run stuffers in to shut down that part of the game and forced AR to throw.
On the flip side I think the Rams have done a pretty good job with depth on their roster. They were down to their 3rd string safety in Nick Scott and he played pretty well aside from the red zone screw up against GB.
QB depth is good with Wolford and Hodges played well enough to beat the rams
RB depth is good though brown will likely be gone
WRs still missing deep threat. Jefferson can play though why get another route running YAC guy and sign the 2 you have?
OL seems to have a lot of capable depth though no maulers or future stars there
TEs have been a disappointment. Brycen is the big hope for a future star. Higbee may play better with Stafford.
On the defensive side, they have a lot of good DBs even if they lose williams. Not worried there.
LBs have a lot of cheap guys that are mediocre but there is proven depth
DL has a lot of depth of guys that can play. Loss of floyd will hurt.
I think the rams have proven they can field 2-3 guys at every single position that can play the game and not be embarrassed. Most teams have glaring holes that if the starter goes down its a major weakness.
