For those taking issue with McVay not keeping things behind closed doors, Goff is guilty of the same thing.
There's only one reason a player calls a national reporter from the tarmac. He called Silver after the Seahawks game, before the plane even left Seattle no less, with the intention of making his unhappiness with not starting publically known.
Trade him please...let's get someone that plays the position with some passion. No more nice guys....please. We need a guy who can extend plays with his feet, arm strength to throw when pressure is in his face and touch on his deep passes....
Rams need Deshaun Watson....please make it happen. I would trade both Goff and Cooper Kupp and the 1st round pick in 2022.
Quickest way to get what you seem to want and take solice several Teams in playoffs don't have Aaron Donald. Its been great but lets face it you can't have your cake and eat it too with our Cap situation.
Sounds silly but look getting in a tizzy and wanting to jettison Goff who no doubrt had a less than spectacular season on the field assisted by some less than inspired play calls and some less than quality protection. We can't fix it all but we have had some success when Donald is not on the field. We can possibly still be effective but what is more important? Get rid of Goff? or work to improve our team in other ways including adding a quality Back-up with some league respect. I would go with the latter but if I am a GM and I am facing the ultimate facelift on offense to protect my HC and save some face I would make the hard but easier trade of my top Asset. I might get who I want and then some.
