He could learn a lot from other coaches by just shutting his mouth. But he can't help himself.
His comments on the offense were so stupid it defies logic. The defense lost that game. Some of his dumb play calls lost that game. For a former TE coach, he sure seems to hate the position; it's invisible on the Rams.
The defense laid an egg last night and it was a golden opportunity to praise the offense. But he didn't. His interview was cringeworthy. His QB played great with a surgically repaired thumb. His LT was playing on one leg. His best WR couldn't play. His LG was a back up... the defense gives up a 60 yard run to start the 3rd quarter.
Watching these videos I just want to ask him why he didn't have the team prepared to beat the Jets. The Dolphins. How did he manage to lose to the 49ers twice. If he had won those games, it's likely the Rams get to the Super Bowl. I don't think the Bucs or Saints could beat them.
He's in really dangerous territory with the locker room....especially with all the players likely to leave. Those vets still here......you can bet they're watching this closely....
Yep.... I just wish someone in the media had the balls to question WHY is he upset with the offense when the defense was sooo bad?
Not one morning show this morning is talking about how the Rams offense or Goff blew it, they are ALL talking about how bad this defense looked yet McVay is gonna gripe about the offense on one drive? Dafuq? Offense and special teams are the only units who showed up that day....but let's throw the offense under the bus.
