To me that means he is intentionally doing something to McVay when its equally consistent he's pissed he's not starting and that come through in response to questions. His answers may "result" in putting McVay in a tough spot but who can say he said what he said with the "intent" on putting McVay on the hot seat. Everything I've read and heard about Goff tells me he wouldn't do that. Be pissed at not starting -of course. Having that emotion come out in an answer to question-of course. It's the intentionally doing it to hurt McVay was how I read the post. I would not have even responded if it read instead" Goff's anger at not starting puts McVay in a tough spot". It's saying that Goff did that FOR that purpose is what I object to.
