I'm no expert and I am well documented as a Goff apologist. But to me, McVay's tone about Goff seems like a lack of confidence in him. Sean does all the coachspeak, but by starting Wolford he showed his hand. For the first time, I actually believe McVay wants a new QB. While I don't agree, I won't argue with McVay. I hope the offense progresses. The running game is essential. Frankly, I'm frustrated with much of the playcalling. It looks too predictable to me.
I'm trying to enjoy the win but the "connection" McVay preaches seems to be coming apart. I hope I'm wrong.
I don't know that I see a lack of confidence in Goff based on Mcvay's tone but assuming you're right, tell me more about the connection McVay preaches coming apart.
I'm not quite following that. Are you saying that if McVay has doubts about Goff that runs contrary to him having a connection with his players?
That's a good question. What I mean is that I sense a mutual frustration between Sean and Jared. I admit this is not based on facts and I could very well be wrong.
