Remember Mahones set his rookie year on the bench. He was mentored by Alex Smith and Andy Reid was his coach. He was not a 6th round pick he was the 10th pick in the draft. Mahones was very fortunate. Do you think he would of had the same success going to Cleveland?
The Rams were a poorly coached bad team. Goff played 7 games his rookie year. Golfs offensive brain trust: Fisher, Boras, Weinke, and Keenum. Give Goff some time.
Golf could handle pressure much better. Hopefully, last week was the start. I feel much better the Rams are facing Brady for the first time without a Biilicheat defense.
I'm very happy that with a below average QB like Goff, 10 game into the Rams season they are playing for 1st place in the NFC West and the #2 seed in the NFC.
Under Fisher without Goff we would be jockeying for draft position and the main topic of conversation would be who the Rams would be drafting in the top 5.
It's all about perspective
