That’s the big question. How much time before we know exactly how good Goff is?***The Book on Goff is not complete. There are many more chapters to be written. He has already shown "flashes" of great talent. Some QB's don't EVER show anything, some show it later in their career. Goff is not perfect and will get better. I see no reason to think otherwise. The BIGGER questions for you and some others might be "How much longer are you willing to wait for improvement? Are you willing to "gamble" that the next Rams QB is "better" than Goff? Hint" check the list of QB's we have had for the last 18 years prior to Goff.***
What we do know right now is that he is not playing well enough to be considered in the same category as the top tier QBs, like Mahomes, Wilsom, and Rodgers.***News flash" There are times that Mahomes,Wilson and Rodgers don't play like Mahomes, Wilson and Rodgers! How many SB's has Rodgers won? Wilson and Rodgers have both played poorly at times.***
And right now Goff doesn’t look as good as guys like Watson and Herbert.***Based on what? Watsone has 3 wins for his team and just finally looked good yesterday. How many wins does Herbert have? lol This "Herbert hype" is funny to me. People think he is the next big thing after a handful of games. He hasn't "proven" anything yet! Let's revisit the Herbert stuff in year 5 to make this a fair comparison, please.
I get that there are Rams fans who will stick with Goff as long as he’s wearing the horns, but I try to be objective about this. Right now, Goff isn’t playing like a top 10 QB, not even close really. He’s back to giving up strip sacks and has been inconsistent with his accuracy.***"Objective"? No disrespect but your opinion has been all over the place on Goff. "Right now" Goff has his team at 6-3 so he must be doing somethings right. Look max, we ALL know Goff isn't perfect and can improve. The difference is that some of us aren't ready to "toss him aside" just yet and are very confident he WILL improve.***
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
