I don't disagree with any of that! I just think that given the choice the Rams should give up a draft pick instead of the player.
Scenario: a team is willing to trade an edge to the Rams and the team tells the Rams "we'll accept either Reynolds or your 4th round pick in the 2022 draft".
Me? I send the draft pick. Reynolds will help the Rams more this year than a 4th round pick in the 2022 draft, and I don't want to weaken one position (WR) simply to make another position better
if I don't have to. (As I said in another post, if the other team says it's Reynolds or no deal then yes, I would trade Reynolds.)
What would you do? (And if you would prefer sending Reynolds instead of the draft pick when you had the option to do either, well ... please explain.)
