I've said Noteboom was going to be left guard and people crapped on me for it. It's not becuase I think Noteboom
is great just that he was better than the alternatives. Same for Allen (COVID and injury rehab will likely put him on IR)

In fact comparing players vs their positional peers is crucial to understand their value. So teams are constantly doing that.

Boom was one of the worst OGs in the league last season. He wasn't sort of good. He was bad. But he was also a rookie so maybe he can turn that around.

Blythe was one of the worst OGs in the league, and also below average as a Center. Prob with him is there isn't any upside.

Corbett has upside, however he's been soft since he came in the league some years back. Is he suddenly going to become a plus run blocker? That's unlikely.

Fact is our line as a whole is soft in comparison to their peers at their respective positions. Teams know it too. I think however if you put Edwards in there at RG we suddenly have a strong side running game, so there's room for tinkering. But if this line goes live vs Dallas in the camp configuration they're gonna be soft. I will be very surprised if that's not the case but we'll see.
