Again you're acting like someone is criticizing Mahomes and therefore you must ride to the rescue.
Naw it's made up. I look around me and NO ONE is criticizing Mahomes or short-changing him. So to ride to the rescue you have to magnify small differences.
In terms of coming through, yeah we saw that. But the point stands. All qbs can be got to. It just did not happen consisently enough this game for the 9ers to win.
So again unless you think Mahomes will go undefeated every single game of his career from this point on, then, yeah, all qbs can be got to. That's just true and we all know it, why even bother to pretend to argue with that?

The bigger point here is that we saw something that we’ve never seen before. This just may be monumental. If you want to dismiss that possibility that’s fine, but I strongly disagree.
As far as mahomes going undefeated, we’ll, that’s an absurd take. No one goes undefeated. The salient issue is that Mahomes is great enough to break the old perception of great D beating great QB in the big game.

It just did not happen this game, and no one predicted it WOULD happen this game. The only thing said was, all qbs CAN be got to. If you agree then there's no debate.
But there were a lot of factors in that game, not just Mahomes (though he was huge obviously). The Chiefs defense was better than advertized, for example. Plus, Garappolo and Shanahan stalled in the 4th quarter. Give SF a qb who could play in clutch time and it might have been different.
