Here's the thing.... since early 2017 the stadium is 90% full on most games.... unless it's a hot team with a huge fan base coming into town, it's usually about 80/20 Rams fans or more.
Last week is a perfect example of it....the last couple years there was a quarter of the Niner fans at the games as there was last week, cuz they sucked.
There is a core group of fans true blue season ticket holders of about 40,000 that go to every game....then there is the rest of the season ticket holders 20,000 or more that will try to profit rather than go to the games. That's just what you get with being gone 20 years....but that's much better than what the Chargers are dealing with....that is a huge mess right now.
Very well said. I agree. What you want is to get that 40k number going to every game to 50k. Like you said in LA it's likely just not realistic to do more than that. And like with a lot of season ticket holder fan bases across America, many will sell 1-2 games per year as a way to cover most or all of their costs for the next year. And I'm sure that is the case for many 2019 season ticket holders eyeing the new stadium.
