Here's the thing.... since early 2017 the stadium is 90% full on most games.... unless it's a hot team with a huge fan base coming into town, it's usually about 80/20 Rams fans or more.
Last week is a perfect example of it....the last couple years there was a quarter of the Niner fans at the games as there was last week, cuz they sucked.
There is a core group of fans true blue season ticket holders of about 40,000 that go to every game....then there is the rest of the season ticket holders 20,000 or more that will try to profit rather than go to the games. That's just what you get with being gone 20 years....but that's much better than what the Chargers are dealing with....that is a huge mess right now.
I really wish the Rams would track the season ticket holders who sale more games than they go to and bar them from buying the next year. I heard they do that in Denver.
Like many have pointed out, So Cal is a melting pot of people most of them were not even born here, they move here and bring their allegiances with them. Although I will say, I see more people in Rams gear than any other NFL team when I'm at work or just out and about and I'm pretty much in San Diego area. They are slowly growing the fan base and winning is the best way to do that.
