Not sure if you're still reading, but here are some replies. I very much appreciate all your interaction with us over the years.
1. It's one thing to apologize about just plain getting the rules wrong, like the league has done sometimes, and another thing to apologize for an officials snap judgement. PI has always been a controversial judgement call. And many of you may have just wanted an apology or an acknowledgement, but some Saints fans wanted a lawsuit. Right? That's the quickest way to get the other side to clam up and go into stonewall mode. I'm not buying that they would have been mollified if only the league had been more forthcoming.
2. Other calls. Recency bias. Only the last call counts, and you're right, everyone made a huge deal out of it. That's our culture now. Clicks, OMG's, Hatefests, Target of the Day stuff. But there's a time to move on, and obviously moving on to nihilism isn't a positive direction. But I get it.
3. Every fan base has their list of "how we got screwed", and doesn't much care about other fan base's lists.
