When owners make more money, then more money is available for employees. It’s a free market thing.
But the biggest justification, by far, is that the fans have to endure 2 less meaningless games with fewer and fewer starters playing AND get to enjoy 2 more exciting and meaningful games. Some would call that a win-win.[/quote]
Yeah, 2 preseason games would cut down on injuries as well as involve fans more. An 18 game season would create more revenue and NOT just benefit the owners. The players can use that extra revenue to their advantage in the next CBA negotiations. It's a trickle down effect.
