Exactly. I would love to know what preseason revenue is as an overall piece of the NFL's pie. My guess is it's pretty small. Going from 4 to 2 games and also reducing preseason ticket costs to $25-30/seat would reduce that revenue but as a
percentage of overall revenue hardly move the needle. Also add in the intrasquad scrimmage at home I suggested in another post. I know I would go to something like that..
Just not sure if the league is looking at it holistically. If preseason constitutes ~5% of annual revenue and the changes we're describing reduce that to 3% there are
plenty of other ways to make up that difference.
Also seems like if they are going to play preseason games in Canada they should check into the field dimensions first....
