Totally agree. I remember the thought being the vets deserve more money. Havent done an analysis but would speculate the money that went to the Bradfords of the draft is now in the pockets of the top 15% of the NFL's highest paid. With the mid tier veterans getting super squeezed.
One idea for vets is having a vet on a minimum deal count only 50% towards the cap, or something that would equate the vets cost to that of current rookie deal. Seems having more vets on teams is better for the league, the players. And then expand the practice squad to ten or 12 guys.
