I think Goff obviously has to be more efficient in New Orleans for them to win, even if they're running the ball really well again. I agree about YPA and he's been 8.2 YPA over the past two years (4th best in the league). You get there by either (a) pushing the ball downfield a lot or (b) completing a high percentage of passes. He made some great throws vs. Dallas but also missed a couple.
I lean more toward wanting him to have a high completion percentage vs. big highlight throws downfield. But if the Saints sell out to stop the run- and early on they should- then downfield throws should be there. He played very well in New Orleans in November. This will be his 3rd NFL start there. So he should be comfortable. The OL has to protect well. Playcalling needs to be sharp. And then Goff has to execute.
