At times, when raising a child, parents must have and enforce rules for their children.
The CBA contains mutually agreed upon rules.
Some favor the owners, some favor the players.
Neither camp should be surprised when the other camp employs such rules as benefit their side.
The outcome is inevitable here, imho, and the sooner AD accepts it the better it will be for him.

He will have over a hundred million reasons to quickly get over it while he enjoys playing the game that he loves, with teammates that he respects, and for coaches that are the envy of the league.
Much as the hypothetical children do after their hypothetical parents enforce their rules that I referenced as an example in my opening sentence.
