And you are pro player, and that is your bias. You are allowed to have that bias. This negotiation will resolve in some manner eventually, they always do. I don't think Donald is wrong for trying to get as much jack as he can, but I think the Ram's would be irresponsible to simply give in and "pay the man". The Ram's front office doesn't have a great track record on paying the right players, and AD is going to try to be the highest paid defensive player for years to come. If the Ram's do give in, I really hope it translates to a dynasty.
First I don't pretend otherwise. And given that I really do try to balance the view. I am not sure all pro-management types do. For one thing there;s no emotion involved for me. I don't feel anger, betrayal, outrage, disdain, or any of that. I never naturalize one side and act as if that were the only possible perspective. I also bring facts to the table (like the fact that 21 M compared to Von Miller's 2016 19 M is the lowest rate of annual increase for 2nd contracts of any position and in fact it's 50% lower than the minimum increase).
I am capable of pointing out both that 25 M is too high in this context just as 21 M is too low. I can say that without emotion. Go count the people who say both things. But both are true IMO.
It's like
"25 M is too high you greedy unethical traitor.""Well is 21 M too low?"" I dunno. Whatever. But, how dare he ask for so much!"...
