First off no one said what you are saying.
It's a general perception of what is meant, not what is written by the poster.Here's what got said.
We have ample accounts, from the participants and outside reporters, how they set up their draft process. (That doesn't include players.)
Never said it had to include all the examples given...it's a list of commonly used references...And that's to this day, so it includes Wade and McVay too. It's the same now as it was. We know that.

I think that a lie or deception can go longer than 7 years (just go read some history).
