in a draft pick versus a known player. 90% is more like the failure rate of a 5th or 6th rounder, not a 1st.

It comes down to is Watkins plus a 1st better than Cooks plus a 3rd. And the difference in salary may be $2 mil a year, give or take

In this case, Cooks is a good player, and he does do some things well... so it's close to a wash
