I really wish we would have tagged Sammy and took our chances on Joyner, and thereby giving us a first round draft choice to address the edge, inside linebacker or tackle, but since we did not, this was a nice recovery, this offense is predicated on having someone taking the top off the defense, not a speed receiver, but someone who creates space underneath for Woods and Kupp to work in and Cooks may be a better fit in this scheme than Sammy.
The other thing that is refreshing BG, and I am still getting used to this, we are not waiting for next years draft or a player to develop, we are making moves to win right now and it sure makes for an eventful off season.
