You bring up good points and I know you are a big film guy, so could you give me your opinions on these questions:
1. Do you personally feel that McVay is on the same level as Mangini as far as coaching ability goes? I'm not talking about overall records, I'm talking about as an overall coach.
2. Also, in order for this to be an apples to apples comparison, do you also feel that the level of players on the Jets back then and the Rams now compare equally?
3. Could Reid's style of offense be a better fit for Watkins skills than McVay's? Thus KC be willing to pay more for that type of receiver?
4. I really liked Watkins, so it was hard for me to see him go. All the film reviews you did on him showed that his football numbers didn't show his full value. But could his non-resigning be because of his health or ability to process the playbook?
Of course, any other posters feel free to give your thoughts.
