Other than that, I agree with you. They take too long to decide who they want to retain or they wait too long in the process to get serious.
Or they don't offer enough. With JJ, the rumor was that they were offering $9M. An obvious low ball.
It's definitely an organizational weakness.
I don't think there is a team in the league with more roster turnover form year to year then the Patriots and they're in the Suoer Bowl every other year....with what looks like a different team every time.....besides the constant of Brady and Bill.
Is that organizational weakness or strength?
Not saying we're the Patriots(yet) but there are more ways to winning then just trying to keep your young players as long as possible and as cheap as possible....it's not easy in today's NFL especially when you are a winning team.
