Look, Demoff signs players that Snead and the HC request, if at all possible. So blaming Demoff for signing a poor player or a release of an ultimate good player is unfair.
And why would that be unfair? Doesn't the cap maestro understand a player's value? Isn't that his job?
Snead was handcuffed by the types of players that Fisher insisted upon. Fortunately, that has been corrected.
Let's see...handcuffed...by Ogletree? By Donald? By Joyner? By Goff?
McVay wasn’t even here, so I fail to see how he’s at fault, unless one doesn’t like the Ogletree extension. And I suspect that Wade’s fingerprints (and blessing) were all over that one.
I don't blame McVay. But Demoff and Snead are directly responsible.
TBH, I’ve been very, very impressed by the personnel moves of this regime. From the quick release of Britt up to and including the MP and Quinn trades.
This is not a new regime. Regime change doesn't mean 2/3 of the regime stays in place...at least not for me. It was an adjustment. It's been one year and that doesn't get you Belichick credibility.
These guys really get it.
I agree to a point...they get some things. Unfortunately, most of that comes by the way of the head coach. What they don't get is how to keep our talent.
