IMO, you don't have to change the offense to fit a guy that doesn't really fit the scheme. It would seem that TA doesn't fit very well in McVay's very successful system as a WR. Otherwise he has been fine as a change of pace back, etc.
Who knows if TA will ever do anything in the NFL? Who knows what kind of chance he got in this system? Anything created for him appeared to be run-based. I'm sure fans aren't happy about his production but who knows how much of that is on TA? I mean obviously if he was a game changer ala Randy Moss then he probably would have made plays. But we've seen him make plays before so its not like he can't play.
I'm not disappointed in Tavon as much as I am disappointed he wasn't more productive. But who the heck cares when you're one of the top offenses in the NFL with a new HC trying to implement his system? Why would he deviate from that?
