Totally.... I thought at the time they kept the right guy too. Still not sure they didn't. We need to see how Jenkins and Johnson play in 2017. To me Johnson was clear-cut better in 2015
and the much more consistent of the two during their 4 seasons together. I'm still glad the Rams didn't pay what the NYG did. Donald is the priority to keep and they can probably re-sign Ogletree
and either Joyner or Alexander for what Jenkins received.
Paying Johnson $31M over two years and then (presumably) getting a high comp. pick for him in 2019 vs. paying Jenkins $36M for three years- with another $4M still guaranteed him after that- is fine with me. Maybe over 2017 and 2018 I'll be proved wrong.
